Sterben - Asaguare
Weird cover version of the song 'Sterben' (Dying) written by my niece Ronja. Lyrics and melody have been altered slightly for rhyming and singing purposes. My voice sounds pretty strange (like a drunken hag) due to massive pitching and processing.
Keywords: pop; vocals; lyrics; song; german
Nada - Asaguare
Dark experimental Latin Rather dark and experimental than a typical Latin tune. The title means 'nothing' and there's really nothing special except for that monotonously flowing, dominating bass drone. Quoting Silvia, the lyrics are "about a girl not changing her ideas, dreams or way of life after engaging in a relationship". Vocals, lyrics: SilviaO
Keywords: ambient; latin; pop; vocals; lyrics; song; experimental
Cidade Sol - Asaguare
Sort of progressive Latin Pop. Vocals, lyrics: Tamy

Tu Corazon - Asaguare
One of my brother's test tracks, extended by vocals, bass and percussion. The title means 'Your Heart' and the song is "... about the cold and desert heart of someone that seemed to love you, but, in the end, didn't." Vocals, lyrics: SilviaO
Keywords: electronica; pop; vocals; lyrics; song; latin
Moomeshki - Asaguare
Groovy Ethnopop arrangement. Oriental flavoured ambience, based on the song 'Ey Dokhtare Moomeshki' by my old friend Nosrat (aka Noston). Male vocals: Nosrat Charkhi
Keywords: ethno; folk; pop; oriental; vocals; lyrics; groove
Straniera - Asaguare
Italian Electropop Such latin disco music kinda boomed in the early 80's in many German clubs. Wasn't liking it too much at that time, but rediscovered its drippy retro atmosphere lately. Lyrics: Francesco Carosone Vocals: Flavia Capodicasa
Keywords: vocals; lyrics; song; italian; disco; electronica; pop
Kling - Asaguare
I love vocals. The more exotic the better. Singing voices are just so expressive, no matter what language or culture. And this time it's a Klingon Bird-of-Prey crew! Enjoy a quite mushy version of the Klingon anthem 'tlhIngan', basically a war song, probably known by hardcore Trekkies only. Vocals: Bird-of-Prey crew
Keywords: alternative; pop; vocals; lyrics; klingon; ironic

Peut Etr - Asaguare
Alternative Pop, based on the love poem 'Aimée' by MiElle who also performs the spoken verses. I thought it was time for something French; it's such a lovely language to listen to, isn't it? Female voice, lyrics: MiElle
Keywords: alternative; pop; vocals; lyrics; french; poem; poetry; vocoder
Para Uso Industrial - Asaguare
Melting ElectroPop into Industrial. Silvia's pellas always sound a bit shy and muted, suitable for ballads and soft-sung tunes. But here I wanted to put her in a somewhat darker environment. Although Goth would have been an option, I decided to do it with Tech/Electro because of some 'happy chords' that I wanted to lighten up this minor key piece. As a nice effect, the synths also make it a bit 80s New Wave, which once has been my favoured dance music...

Maskerade - Asaguare
Wrote this poem in 1985 and made it a song a few years later. Recorded it in 2008, finally. It's about the old story of a cool guy who falls in love with a woman, but firstly doesn't show her too much feelings. Then comes the day when he changes, getting soft and emotional; yet too late... she already adopted his tough behaviour and went away, now her is the cool one.

Damals - Asaguare
Sad German pop song about remembering old times and old love.
Keywords: alternative; pop; vocals; lyrics; song; ballad; german; sad
Ultima Vez - Asaguare
Just to contrast with my latest tech/electro submissions, this is a very softly flowing ballad. Almost pure acappella - I've only added some shy percussion and a nice guitar solo. Please lean back and relax... Vocals, lyrics: SilviaO
Keywords: latin; pop; vocals; lyrics; song; ballad; choir; chill

Shoshaloza - Asaguare
African Ethno, weird acappella mashup. This almost became a choral cluster - the first version had 8 voice layers. But to preserve at least a little bit of transparency, I removed some and ended with 4 layers plus percussion. May still sound confusing, anyway it's interesting to pick and trace individual voices. Vocal artists: Mtuba Thulisa, Mandyleigh Storm, Vieux Farka Touré, Emily

Kufstein - Asaguare
Synthpop version of a traditional Austrian folk song. For those who don't know the original version: it's a quite sentimental and drippy waltz in major key with simple lyrics and joyful melody, usually performed by vocalist/choir and a good amount of strings. My electrified version is in minor key and the lyrics are sung via vocoder. To maintain authenticity, I've thrown in some yodel clips. Lyrics: Karl Ganzer
